Some ground rules.

These are set and enforced by the mastodon.tinyfox.dev moderators.

1. All images featuring animals must be suitable for all ages, including minors, and must not contain any explicit, graphic or violent content.
2. No images of animal cruelty or abuse will be tolerated. This includes but is not limited to images of animals being hunted, trapped, or subjected to any form of physical harm or violence.
3. Images of animals in captivity or in zoos must be respectful and not exploit the animals in any way.
4. Images of animals in the wild must not disturb their natural habitats or behaviors. This includes but is not limited to images of animals being fed by humans or interacting with human-made structures.
5. No images featuring dead or hunted animals for sport or personal gain will be allowed. This includes images of taxidermy or hunting trophies.
6. Any images featuring animals must have proper context and should not be used for misinformation or spreading false information.
7. If an image featuring an animal is posted, it must not be used to promote or glorify speciesism, hate speech or any form of discrimination.
8. All images featuring animals must be in accordance with the laws and regulations related to the treatment and depiction of animals, including but not limited to animal welfare laws, endangered species laws, and wildlife protection laws.
9. Any image that does not comply with these rules may be removed by the server administrators without prior notice. Repeat offenders may face temporary or permanent bans from the server.
10. If you have any questions or concerns about these rules, please reach out to the server administrators for clarification. We aim to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all users, including our animal friends.
11. Replies to posts featuring animals must also adhere to the same guidelines and rules listed above.
12. No inappropriate or offensive comments will be allowed in response to animal posts. This includes but is not limited to hate speech, abusive language, or derogatory comments about the animal or its species.
13. Replies should be respectful and not exploit or degrade the animal depicted in the post.
14. All opinions and discussions in replies should be based on facts and credible information. Misinformation or spreading false information about the animal or its species will not be tolerated.
15. We encourage all users to engage in respectful and educational discussions about animals, their habitats, and their welfare. Let's work together to promote empathy and compassion for all species.
